The Art of Re-purposed Wood

All furniture is made from re-purposed wood, whether it be old Shipping Pallets, rescued from a building site, covered with sand, brick dust, cement and paint or old Roofing Timbers, to Doors or Door Frames, Gate Posts covered with decades of cracked and peeling paint to old Dry Walling. In fact anything I can lay my hands on that has character I will clean up and enhance that character to create smooth rustic pieces with a luxurious feel.

Almost any piece of furniture can be duplicated and reproduced in this style with any of a number of paint effects.  Here are a few examples.

Dining Suite
Self Leveling Table up to 5-6 mm. This table can be placed on an uneven floor without rocking.  The Chairs are stable and solid.  All surfaces manufactured from pallets found on a building site with most of the discolouration from cement, mud, brick dust and paint sealed in and with a smooth finish to create the ancient worn look and feel.

Made to suite
This kitchen table was made to suite the existing fitted kitchen of a friend.  It was also given an age old rustic well used effect, yet well finished off to a fine quality piece of furniture.

Coffee Table / Plasma Stand
Bring a bit of the old world into the new with this old worn looking modern piece of furniture with a shelf and two drawers or two shelves. This particular piece boasts some stenciling on the top and drawer fronts.
